An incredible mixed media painting by accomplished Pennsylvania folk arts, Stacey Bear of Momentoes.  Original painting in acrylics, pencil, water-color and graphite is ensconced within a wonderful antique drawer. Suspended by wire in the drawer, this compelling piece can hang or sit in display. Suspected restoration to rim, not sure, I cannot tell if it is the clay or stippling during the firing as some of these early glazed pieces have roughness in their humble charms. ALler Vale of course and mark inducates 1887-1897... I hope I look this cute at 130 years old!
