A charming and rustic piece in the early terracotta clay you see in some of the works in the renown Kerswell Daisy Pattern created at the Aller Vale pottery.... significant age to this piece with marking that indicates production from 1880-1890... quite lovely with its deep amber glaze and tad pole decorations... scragfitto motto... Made in Devon England at the Torquay Potteries. Antique pottery sold as found, images show condition of piece… reads "Earth I am it is most true, disdain me not for so be you" - about 4"
